Been There, Do This: Twin Peaks in San Francisco

By: Valerie Chen

In order to truly see San Francisco in all of its magnificence, you will want a bird eye’s view. During a recent visit, my friends and I drove up to the highest two points of the city: Twin Peaks. San Francisco appears diminutive on a map when compared to other key metropolitan areas — the mainland area is roughly 7 by 7 miles. But when you gaze at the city from 925 feet above ground, it’s clear that San Francisco is grandiose in its own way, filled to the brim with candy-colored buildings, meandering streets and scattered, lush parks.
