German A-Rosa River Cruises, which entered the North American market last year with sales handled by California-based David Morris International, will introduce the 158-passenger Flora on April 10.
Flora will strongly resemble last year’s A-Rosa Silva but will offer more suites, responding to North American demand. Features of the ship will include a heated pool, a giant chessboard, a putting green, a grill, multiple restaurants, a wine bar, a spa, a sauna and a gym. Flora will also have 70 staterooms, including two family rooms that can accommodate four people each. A-Rosa’s all-inclusive pricing includes an open bar, shore excursions, Wi-Fi access, gratuities, transfers and all port charges, taxes and fees.
Flora will offer seven- to nine-night cruises, including the seven-night Panoramic Rhine sailings from Amsterdam to Basle through the Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland. Departures are scheduled for May 10, May 17, Sept. 6 and Sept. 13. Early booking fares purchased by Dec. 31 start at $2,669.
