Abercrombie and Kent’s Family Kenya Safari offers all the grand adventure of an African safari in a family-friendly environment. A children’s activity coordinator travels with the tour to provide structured, age-appropriate activities to engage the kids with their surroundings, including butterfly catching, soccer games and, for a new kind of arts and crafts, making kites and animal masks from elephant dung. The safari includes cultural highlights such as a visit to a Samburu village and an elementary school in Masai Mara. Most kids will be entranced by the region’s extraordinary wildlife. During the trip, they will visit an elephant orphanage, feed the world’s tallest giraffe at the Giraffe Center, visit a chimpanzee sanctuary and feed Baraka, a human-friendly rhino, at the Old Pejeta Conservancy. The nine-day safari has departures from June through December. www.abercrombiekent.com
