Applications for Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) West close at midnight on Monday, April 9. Interested travel advisors are urged to complete their applications prior to the deadline to be considered for this appointment-based event for top-producers.

“We’ve seen an incredible amount of interest in this year’s event, with the majority of applications coming through as referrals from past attendees,” said Jacqueline Hurst, Director, Trade Recruitment & Engagement for Travel Weekly and TravelAge West events. “This really shows the GTM West team — and the industry — that this event has a huge impact on travel advisors’ businesses. We encourage any top-producing travel advisors who are considering this event to apply now. Selections from the remaining pool of applicants will be made shortly, ensuring GTM provides the best representation from the western states and Canadian provinces.”

GTM West will take place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, May 15-17, in Las Vegas for the first time. Travel advisors who are selected to attend are fully hosted, including airfare, hotel and all meals during the event.

To qualify, advisors must have a minimum of $800,000 in individual annual sales or be an owner of a multimillion-dollar agency. In addition, all candidates must have the authority to make product and partner decisions. GTM West is for advisors from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii, and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Through a series of six-minute, one-on-one appointments, advisors will have the opportunity to meet a diversified supplier roster of 100 companies including: individual properties such as Clontarf Castle or Karisma Hotels & Resorts and destinations with such diversity as Cayman Islands, Napa Valley, Israel, SouthWest Germany, Switzerland and so many more. There will be top mainstream tour wholesalers such as Apple Vacations and Avanti Destinations as well as boutique region specialists such as Black Forest Highlands, Down Under Answers, and Titanium Tours. Also in attendance will be business services including websites, social media and travel insurance.

Supplier participant spots are completely sold out. For a full list of participating suppliers, visit www.gtmwest.com/supplierlist.

This boutique-style event provides a unique and interactive platform that supports the best sellers in the business, encouraging them to expand their supplier portfolio and grow their global book of business.
