At Virtuoso’s recent 2013 Symposium in Buenos Aires, the company welcomed more than 400 travel agency members and preferred travel providers for a week of industry meetings designed to elevate Virtuoso client experiences.

At the Symposium, Virtuoso announced a fundamental shift in its business approach, moving the brand toward direct-to-consumer in order to help grow business for its member agencies and preferred suppliers. To this end, the company has engaged in two significant projects: a complete overhaul of Virtuoso’s website and a project to compile and evaluate customer transactions. The new website will include an advisor catalog, product catalogs, travel content from Virtuoso Life magazine and verified ratings and reviews.

In other news from the company, Virtuoso’s members have the exclusive right of sale for consumer space travel in the Americas, an exciting prospect in light of the successful first flight of Virgin Galactic’s commercial space vessel last month. www.virtuoso.com
