CCRA Travel Solutions recently surveyed travel agents via the CCRA Travel Agent Blog to find out their top New Year’s resolutions for making their travel business more successful in 2014. The top three answers included hiring additional staff; using social media to increase their online presence and build their brand; and taking more agent fam and personal trips to improve their travel planning skills and destination knowledge. Other travel agent contest submissions described plans to build more relationships with local businesses, enhance agency websites and set aside more time to contact previous clients.

“We were delighted to learn how travel agents plan to boost their business in 2014 and we look forward to providing agents with helpful tips to earn more income, use social media effectively and consider new travel destinations in the new year through our upcoming blog posts,” said Dic Marxen, president and CEO of CCRA.

In addition to posting information on its travel agent blog, the company helps agents by hosting CCRA Power Solutions travel events, which will take place in cities across the country in 2014. The information gathered from the blog survey will enable CCRA to provide the resources and tools necessary to help travel agents increase sales and enhance their overall success. www.ccratravelagentblog.com
