The Details

Tauck is introducing a fourth family-friendly river cruise. The tour operator’s new eight-day Family Fun Along the Seine: Paris to Normandy trip will debut in 2017 and double the company’s family river cruising capacity. The tour, which begins at $4,290 per person, will have guests participating in a scavenger hunt through the Louvre, dining inside the Eiffel Tower and biking past the Tuileries Garden and Musee d’Orsay.

Onboard Tauck’s MS Sapphire, clients will stop at artist Claude Monet’s house in Giverny, visit Versailles and learn about World War II in Normandy. Tauck is also enhancing its other family river cruises.

On the eight-day Bon Voyage! France Family River Cruise, parents and kids will bike along the Seine and have a “chocolate painting” excursion in Arles.
