At this year’s CruiseWorld, Royal Caribbean International is offering 500 travel advisors the opportunity to participate in a great maritime tradition: the naming ceremony for Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship. In addition to the naming ceremony, advisors will take a day tour of the ship and have a chance to experience the amenities offered onboard.
“It’s no secret that we value our travel partners; they’re a cornerstone to our success, and we’re here to help them reach and exceed their goals,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of sales, trade support and service for Royal Caribbean. “As a large vacation company, we take every opportunity to interact with them in person — CruiseWorld is a perfect example of that.”
CruiseWorld, put on by Northstar Travel Group (parent company of TravelAge West), will take place Nov. 9-11 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., The three-day event will offer supplier training programs, 11 ship inspections and more. Space for the Royal Caribbean event is limited to the first 500 RSVPs.
