My favorite G Adventures itinerary is our Tibet Adventure. It has such a great mix of landscape, culture and unforgettable people. Hiking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal was something I’ll never forget.

What agents might not realize about G Adventures is how involved we are in the communities we visit. We are still very much composed of local operations that are bringing huge amounts of employment and opportunity into the regions where we travel.

The key to a great business relationship with me is to reach out to me. There are thousands of agents in my territory, and it’s impossible to find everyone all on my own. I’m always available to anybody who shows an interest in working together.

In the last month, I’ve hosted webinars, lunch trainings in agencies and even hopped on calls with agents to help them close a Galapagos sale.

In 2015, travel agents in the West should sell adventure travel. It’s the fastest-growing segment of travel, and agents have more clients than they realize for this type of travel.

My favorite travel items are toys, such as a ball, a Frisbee or a deck of cards. These create bonding moments with fellow travelers.
