Mexico University is a new Web resource for travel agents. The website, launching April 30, aims to be a one-stop shop for all Mexico travel sellers, and was designed and developed by Northstar Marketing Solutions, a sister company of TravelAge West, on behalf of the Mexico Tourism Board.
The website will offer comprehensive educational programming, including well-produced promotional videos, webinars and courses. It will also feature sales tools such as themed travel guides for agents to share with their clients.
Another feature of Mexico University is the Mexico Travel Expert certification program. Upon completion, travel agents will receive two continuing education units issued by the Travel Institute, and they will have access to the Graduate Center. The Graduate Center will feature exclusive content, resources, promotions and opportunities as well as special offers from hotel, air and tour operators.
All of these resources are designed to better support travel agents and make selling Mexico to clients even easier. The website will also reward agents for their sales through the Mexico Rewards initiative. Agents will be able track their sales through the program and win prizes from Mexico Tourism Board’s partners. Following the launch of Mexico University, Mexico Rewards will begin on a later date in 2015.
