Sabre recently announced the development of Sabre Red Workspace, a next-generation travel agency platform for travel agents and suppliers in the airline, hotel, cruise and car rental industries. The new software will be released to customers in early 2017.

Why It Matters:
Sabre’s Red Workspace will let agents craft a client’s experience by considering up-to-date industry trends, predictive analytics, relevant offers from suppliers and transparent price previews all in one place. An added bonus? The platform will alert agents to opportunities to increase sales and commissions while offering options based on a client’s preferences. This data-driven approach to trip planning will increase efficiency while giving agents a unique, streamlined way to book travel.

- The new platform will feature a consumer-grade user interface.

- Platform features will include “inspirational shopping;” revenue-maximization tools; a “decision support bar” that provides market data; and intelligence services for fare trends and more.

- Suppliers can use the platform’s merchandising capabilities, including product promotion, images, videos and more.

- The tool is compatible across multiple operating systems and devices, including desktop, Sabre Red Mobile and Sabre Web Services.
