While yoga has a passionate following on land, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) is growing in popularity with water lovers. Visitors can combine the two courtesy of Waikiki Beach Activities, the beach and pool concessionaire at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The new SUP yoga class, which takes place in the calm waters of Duke’s Lagoon, incorporates Zen-style breath work, sun salutations, back bending and maybe even a few inversions, all while balancing on a floating board. Offered three times per week, the 90-minute session is geared toward all skill levels. In addition, Waikiki Beach Activities has launched an interactive double-hull canoe program sharing the basics of the culturally significant Hawaiian sport. www.waikikibeachactivities.com
