These days, there’s no shortage of trip-planning websites and apps, and it can be difficult to determine what makes one better than another. MiniTime is different, however. It’s completely dedicated to helping families plan travel.
MiniTime creates its own original content, and visitors will find reviews of kid-friendly hotels and attractions written by parents who actually travel with children. MiniTime also features expert advice about how to plan affordable and fun family vacations from a community of parents dedicated to sharing their own vacation experiences.
Best of all, instead of sending visitors to a booking page or site, MiniTime refers shoppers to travel agents.
“We used to end our online trip-planning experience with an automated booking engine,” says Eyal Keren, chief operating officer of MiniTime. “But we found that users were much happier when they could connect with a live travel agent instead. So we changed our model.”
