On Sept. 16, Fairfield Inn & Suites held an all-day event in New York City’s Grand Central Terminal featuring free workout and dance classes led by the city’s top instructors. Thousands of visitors helped light up a giant dance floor with the power of their movement to beats from DJ Q. Instructors included Life Time Group Fitness’ Patricia Moreno and Calvin Wiley.
The “Powered by the People” event was in celebration of Fairfield’s latest wellness initiative, a partnership with Life Time Fitness that will offer guests at any of Fairfield's 700-plus properties in the U.S. and Canada access to gyms and other benefits.
“There is no better way to celebrate health and fitness than by moving to music and having a big dance party,” said Shruti Buckley, vice president and global brand manager for Fairfield Inn & Suites. “We know people value their workout routines, and our new partnership is a natural extension that allows them to work out however they please, whether in our newly designed gyms or at Life Time destinations.”
