Holland America Line and Seabourn Promote Mark Kammerer and Joe Slattery

Holland America Line (HAL) has promoted Mark Kammerer to vice president of international marketing and sales for HAL and Seabourn. Kammerer's former responsibilities for HAL included marketing and North American sales, as well as worldwide cruise marketing. He will report to Joe Slattery, who has been promoted to senior vice president of global marketing and sales for HAL.

“Mark brings incredible knowledge and experience to this position, and his expertise supports the continued growth in our international presence,” said Slattery. “Mark has proven himself to be a creative thinker and inspiring leader, and I look forward to working with him.”

Slattery is entering his newly created position at HAL with 21 years of experience at the company. He most recently served as vice president of international sales and marketing.

“Joe has significantly expanded the reach and depth of our international sales initiatives, and the success of our offices in Rotterdam, the U.K. and Australia and our growth in emerging markets around the world can be attributed to his guidance,” said Richard Meadows, executive vice president of sales, marketing and guest programs for HAL. “We are confident that all of our global markets will benefit from his strong vision and leadership, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion.”
