Last month, Plaza Travel in Encino, Calif., showed their support for Northridge Hospital’s Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) by participating in the hospital’s 12th annual “Victory for Victims” Walk/Run at Lake Balboa Park in Encino. The event’s proceeds benefit CATS, a 24/7 immediate response program that serves victims of sexual abuse and assault in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.
“This is our fourth year participating in this event and I already have quite a few signed up for 2015,” said Plaza Travel consultant Sandra Sparks.
Plaza Travel is regularly involved in the community, having previously participated in other events such as the Revlon Walk and a 5K for ovarian cancer. The company consistently participates in two events per year as a team — the CATS walk and Camp Ronald McDonald Halloween Carnival.
“This is an agency with a big heart — we truly enjoy giving back to the community,” said Sparks.
