Casa de Campo, along with parent company Central Romana Corporation, Ltd., has appointed Rafael Torres as president of the luxury resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Torres has more than 20 years of hotel industry experience and most recently served as managing director for Paradisus Resorts (operated by Melia Hotels International), also in the Dominican Republic. In his new role, Torres will manage operations within Casa de Campo. He will also oversee international affairs and lead Central Romana’s new division of hotel and business.

"I am excited to begin this new project with Casa de Campo,” said Torres. “Through collaborative efforts with the great resort team, we will strengthen the property’s stance in the luxury hospitality market. Also, we will grow within the tourism industry overall through different national and international projects."
