Whale-watching season is fast approaching, and with it comes another round of special offers from Star of Honolulu, a luxury cruise ship. From Dec. 23, 2015, to April 15, 2016, Star provides free admission for children ages 3 through 11 on its daily tours. Additionally, it guarantees sightings of humpback whales, which return to Hawaii’s waters each year to mate and give birth.

During the trip, certified naturalists and informative displays engage and educate passengers, and a children’s program keeps the young ones entertained. The cruise also regales guests with Hawaiian cultural activities such as lei-making, hula and ukulele lessons.

Rates for the Premier Whale Watch Cruise start at $52 per adult.
