The Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood takes visitors to see where their favorite movies and television shows are made. Guests who choose the VIP Experience have the opportunity to take the tour to a whole new level as they are given behind-the-scenes access to parts of the Universal backlot usually only open to working film crews.
Now, with the return of the popular TV show “Will & Grace” to prime time, the VIP Experience is adding the chance for guests to step onto Soundstage 22 where the sitcom is filmed.
“The ‘Will & Grace’ set visits are an exciting addition to the VIP Experience and speak to the one-of-a-kind opportunities that offer our guests a peek at Hollywood in action,” said Karen Irwin, president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios Hollywood.
Unlike the regular tram tour, the VIP Experience also allows clients to walk through working soundstages used in current productions and step onto historic backlot sets such as New York Street, where blockbusters such as “Transformers” were filmed, and along the cobblestone streets of Little Europe, used in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films.
