Xanterra Parks & Resorts recently debuted a new umbrella brand name — Xanterra Travel Collection — to better reflect its portfolio of travel brands.
Why It Matters:
Xanterra Travel Collection, which is the largest national and state park concessioner in the U.S., now encompasses award-winning travel companies including VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations, Country Walkers, Holiday Vacations, Grand Canyon Railway and Windstar Cruises. The branding announcement also comes as Xanterra reopens The Oasis at Death Valley in California’s Death Valley National Park after a multimillion-dollar renovation.
- Xanterra Travel Collection is composed of: all primary lodging and concessions in Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Zion, Crater Lake, Glacier, Rocky Mountain and Mount Rushmore national parks, and four Ohio state parks; Cedar Creek Lodge outside Glacier National Park; The Grand Hotel in Tusayan, outside the Grand Canyon; Windstar Cruises; VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations; Country Walkers; Holiday Vacations; and Grand Canyon Railway; Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams, Ariz.
- Additionally, Xanterra Travel Collection sister properties include The Broadmoor in Colorado and Sea Island in Georgia.
