The land-only price begins at $2,796 and a companion can join for $3,145. Both rates are per person, based on double occupancy. A single supplement is available for $975. Economy and business class roundtrip airfare is available from $779 and $2,324, respectively, from New York, New Jersey, San Francisco or Chicago to Delhi, India.
Agents now have the opportunity to spend two weeks visiting the Himalayan country of Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim. The trip, offered by Exotic Journeys, includes stops in Bhutan’s capital of Thimpu and the old capital of Punakha. While in these cities, guests will have the opportunity to visit nunneries and a medieval fortress. Travelers will also tour the city of Darjeeling in India, where they will be able to see how famous Darjeeling tea is made.
