Tara Tours is offering agents an eight-day trip to Quito, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. After a full-day tour exploring Quito and a visit to the city’s equatorial monument, travelers will make their way to the native town of Otavalo for a visit to an Indian market. Guests will then fly to the Galapagos Islands, where they will arrive on San Cristobal Island and board the Santa Cruz II for a cruise. Highlights include snorkeling and swimming along the coast and viewing wildlife such as sea lions and iguanas at Santa Fe Island and South Plaza Island. A visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station is also on the itinerary, and agents have the option to finish the trip with hiking, biking or kayaking in Tortuga Bay. The ship will disembark on Baltra Island, where visitors will then make their way back to Quito and then home. The rate includes all tours, guided services, accommodations, most meals, entry fees and gratuities.
