The land-only price begins at $1,300 per person, and the air-inclusive rate from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport is $1,995 per person, both based on double occupancy. A companion supplement is $100 for the first guest and $200 for a second. Port taxes are $135 per person, and a single supplement is $350. A deposit of $400 per person is required at the time of booking.
Agents will board the MS Rachmaninoff with Imperial River Cruises for a 10-night voyage through Russia that sails from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Other ports of call during the trip include several rural destinations within Russia, such as Mandrogi (a river village), Kizhi Island, Goritsy and Uglich. The first three days will be spent in St. Petersburg, where travelers will have the opportunity to explore the city and its attractions, including the State Hermitage Museum. Then guests will travel to Mandrogi, where a walking tour will reveal the village’s unique architecture and Russian folk traditions. Other highlights of the trip include visiting Kizhi, a historic island on Lake Onega, and having time to explore the colorful, domed monasteries built in Goritsy and Uglitch before disembarking in Moscow. The rate includes guided sightseeing; transfers, all meals and onboard entertainment, lectures and seminars.
