The price begins at $2,970 per person, based on double occupancy, for a minimum of eight travelers. A single supplement is $800, and a $250 nonrefundable deposit per person is required at registration.
During this 11-day Jewish Heritage fam trip to Ukraine, agents will visit the cities of Lviv, Chernitvsi, Kamenets-Podolsky, Kiev and Odessa. Travelers will start with a city tour of Lviv, where they will visit the city’s Jewish quarter and ghetto, as well as the ruins of the former Golden Rose Synagogue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, agents will drive through the Carpathian Mountains to the centuries-old city of Chernivtsi, where architecture aficionados will have the opportunity to marvel at the ornate, New-Renaissance style of one of Ukraine’s oldest universities. Other itinerary items include a stop in Kamenets-Podolsky, a fortress city steeped in Holocaust history; a tour of St. Sophia Cathedral in the capital city of Kiev, which served as a cultural hub for the Kievan Rus people; and visits to various monuments and museums dedicated to the Jewish heritage, including a Holocaust Museum and catacombs in Odessa. The rate includes accommodations, transfers, train tickets, most meals taxes, guided sightseeing, entrance fees and gratuities.
