On this 11-day itinerary through Myanmar, travel agents will begin with two days in Yangon, where they will take in the charm of this provincial town and visit Shwedagon Pagoda, a local nunnery and Kandawgyi Lake. The group will continue to the ancient city of Bagan and tour the tropical market in Nyaung U and Dhammayangyi Pagoda, Bagan’s largest temple, as well as Gubyaukgyi Temple and Shwezigon Pagoda. Agents will then fly to Mandalay for a tour of Myanmar’s largest monastery in Amarapura and later to Heho for a stay at Inle Lake. Additional experiences on the trip include sunset cruising on the Irrawaddy River, a drive to the top of Mount Popa, wine tasting at Red Mountain Estate Vineyards & Winery at Inle Lake and a tour of Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Accommodations, internal flights, entrance fees and most meals are included in the price.
