This 11-night Mediterranean cruise will start in Barcelona and visit Rome and Genoa in Italy; Corfu, Crete, Olympia and Athens in Greece; Marseille, France; and Valletta, Malta. During the voyage — which takes place onboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Fantasia — cruisers will first visit Valletta, which is home to the temples of Hagar Qim and Tarsia. They will then sail to Corfu, which is rich with Renaissance and Georgian-style architecture. Agents will then spend a day in Olympia — known as the birthplace of the Olympic Games — before heading to Crete and Athens. From there, advisors will sail to Rome, where they will visit landmarks such as Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Colosseum. The ship will then stop in Genoa, a major Italian port and commercial center, and Marseille, the “gateway to the East,” before sailing back to Barcelona. The price of the cruise includes all accommodations, onboard meals and entertainment, Wi-Fi access and educational talks about each port. Agents may cancel the trip for any reason up to 79 days prior to departure.
