As the island of Barbados continues its partnership with superstar sensation Rihanna, the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) has created an incentive to extend its Bajan hospitality by awarding top-selling travel agents the chance to attend Rihanna’s upcoming sold-out concert.
On May 4 and 5, 2013, the island native will be swapping her palm tree and ocean-lined hometown for a spot on center stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY for a sold-out two-night event.
As part of the BTA’s efforts to encourage the travel agent community to increase Barbados bookings, the BTA will award 24 total winning agents (12 per night) with a ticket to watch the Rihanna show from a luxury suite in the recently-opened arena.
To qualify, travel agents must sell five bookings to Barbados, each based on double occupancy with a five-night minimum stay, inclusive of air. The contest begins this week and runs through April 26, 2013, with a travel window of April 1-November 15, 2013. All bookings must be logged by April 26, 2013, no later than 3:00 p.m. EST. Winners will be announced on April 29, 2013.
