From notable Alaskan wildlife regions and natural landmarks to geographically unique landscapes, excursions offered by Alaska Heritage Tours (AHT) showcase the best of Southcentral Alaska. AHT operates lodges, day cruises and provides land vacations in southcentral Alaska visiting the communities of Seward, Anchorage, Whittier and Talkeetna. Through partnerships with other Alaska-based tour operators and hoteliers, AHT has created a number of vacation packages that can be customized to meet the specific needs of just about any traveler.
The Alaska Grand Explorer package, for example, takes guests on a guided walking tour through the Exit Glacier to learn about the topography, vegetation and natural habitats surrounding glacial environments. Guests will then travel through Kenai Fjords National Park and Denali National Park. Clients will also ride the railways, go flight-seeing and enjoy a sternwheeler cruise. The 10-day tour starts at $2,925 per double room, and the offer is valid through Aug. 26.
The seven-day Glacier and Peaks Tour brings clients to alpine glaciers and towns within the Alaska Range skies. Notably, guests will tour through the Denali tundra with an experienced naturalist. Rates start at $2,246 per double room, and the offer is valid through Aug. 26.
