Juneau, Alaska is hosting a number of fun attractions this summer season. The Concerts in the Park series remains popular with visitors and runs until Aug. 12 every Friday evening at downtown Marine Park. There, music lovers can enjoy live funk, soul, bluegrass and classic rock performances.

On Sundays, visitors can attend the Sundays at Savikko event at Savikko Park in Douglas, Alaska, for classical, folk, rock and more from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Savikko Park makes for a picturesque setting, located between Gastineau Channel and the mountains, just across from downtown Juneau.

Another fun event to catch in Juneau this summer is the 3rd annual Summer Climbing Festival. The Juneau Rock Dump hosts a rock climbing competition for all ages at its indoor climbing gym. Registration is $15 in advance and $20 at the door; spectators are admitted free. There will be four competitions with division winners and door prizes.

Clients can also enjoy some of Juneau’s museum exhibits at the Alaska State Museum and the Juneau-Douglas City Museum or attend a performance at Juneau’s nationally acclaimed Perseverance Theatre. The capital city also offers a number of outdoor activities from kayaking, hiking, rafting and more.
