A Grand Canyon rafting trip through the whitewaters of the Colorado River is a popular trip for families and groups — so popular, in fact, that it’s best to book nearly a year in advance. Group rates are offered for families and corporate groups of 10 or more. Arizona River Runners is currently accepting 2013 reservations for June, July and August at the current 2012 prices. Prices begin at $1,820 per person.

The company is also offering Hiker’s Specials for April and early May. These six-, seven-, 10- and 12-day whitewater rafting trips include extra time for side canyon exploration in the milder spring weather. Access to most of these trails are exclusive to the Colorado River. Prices begin at $1,295 per person.

Arizona River Runners’ all-inclusive Grand Canyon raft trips provide food, drinks, snacks, rafting gear, camping equipment and more.
