Sedona will host its 21st annual Red Rock Fantasy festival through Jan. 5. This man-made marvel within the scenic beauty of Sedona’s red rocks features nearly one million lights and over two dozen displays created by families from the Southwest. The festival promises marvels of light for children and adults alike to enjoy. Possible display themes include cartoon favorites, interactive scavenger hunts and undersea adventures.
The festival is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 5-12 and free for children ages 4 and under. Blocks of 20 or more tickets are sold at a discounted rate of $4 per person.
Red Rock Fantasy benefits its hometown, local charities and dozens of families each year. Proceeds from the event have gone to charity since its inception, including beneficiaries such as Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Arizona, Sedona International Film Festival and Verde Valley Sanctuary.
