Northern Arizona’s wine region, located in the Verde Valley, is attracting wine aficionados from around the world. As the region’s vintages become better known, interest in exploring the area is growing and the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa has become ground zero for visitors.

Capitalizing on growing interest in the area’s wine, the hotel has formed the Water to Wine Package, which includes three days’ and two nights’ accommodation and a moderately adventurous kayak trip down the Verde River capped off with wine tasting at Alcantara Vineyards. The package starts at $890 and also includes a welcome amenity, gift certificates for the winery and a $100 hotel credit for Reds Restaurant and/or The Spa at Sedona Rouge.

Guests can also try an escorted outing that tours the wineries in the Sedona area, including a leisurely stop in Jerome for a visit to its four wineries before heading to Page Springs, the epicenter of Verde Valley wine with three acclaimed wineries. At the end of the day, guests return to the hotel.
