Sedona Arts Center's signature event will capture the imagination. For nine days in late October, Oct. 24 through Nov. 1, 32 nationally recognized plein-air artists participate in Sedona’s unique artistic showcase. The artists paint en plein air in a variety of media, battling the elements to capture the unique and picturesque scenes of Sedona's Red Rock Country.
The festivities begin on Saturday afternoon with the Paint Out on Main Street, followed by daily free activities open to the public, lectures, demonstrations, free plein-air painting classes, the Artists Showcase, A Day in Jerome and two wine receptions with the artists.
The culmination of the festival begins on Friday with a morning Quick Draw Event and later, an evening ticketed gala event in the luxurious Monet Ballroom at L'Auberge de Sedona, the presenting sponsor. The closing event will be a public exhibit and sale of festival art on Saturday and Sunday at the Sedona Arts Center Galleries.
