The Westin Phoenix Downtown opened its doors to travelers looking for upscale accommodations in the business district last month. The hotel is just one block away from Phoenix Civic Plaza, the city’s largest entertainment and convention venue, and just five miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The second Westin hotel in Phoenix, the property features 242 guestrooms with a highly anticipated new design, as well as Westin’s signature services, 15,000 square feet of meeting space and chef Randy Zweiban’s Province restaurant.
“We are delighted to introduce Westin to dynamic downtown Phoenix, as we continue to accelerate our portfolio growth in key markets across the U.S.,” said Nancy London, vice president and global leader for Westin Hotels. “We make the healthiest choices irresistibly appealing, with innovative programs that ensure guests always leave a Westin feeling better than when they arrived.”
The new room design is a mix of both the classic and contemporary. The use of natural elements and a neutral color palette emphasizes the brand’s path to preserving wellness and keeping balanced. Guestrooms are equipped with the Westin Heavenly Bath and Bed sets as well as LED lighting to increase energy efficiency.
