Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has officially opened the doors of its third San Diego property, Hotel La Jolla, after a $4 million renovation.

The transformation features a focus on design, infusing new public spaces — such as the lobby, pool deck and lounge, meeting space and fitness center — with light and open space. Guestroom updates, landscape alterations and a new Mediterranean restaurant all reflect the elegant and contemporary design aesthetics. Hotel La Jolla now offers 110 guestrooms, each with patio or balcony, complete with flat-panel televisions, Frette linens, Begelow bath products and Kimpton’s signature plush animal-print robes.

The new management of the hotel will also bring Kimpton’s special features to the property, including programs such as wellness offerings, a daily hosted evening wine hour, complimentary essential travel items and more.

“We are thrilled that the time is finally here for us to share this magnificent new hotel and all of its exceptional amenities with our guests and the local community,” said Caroline Dyal, general manager for Hotel La Jolla. “Our goal is to make our guests’ experience special and I know we have just the place and the team to make that happen.”
