Hotel Palomar Offers Meeting Perks

Westwood boutique hotel specializes in custom-made meetings and events

In the heart of Los Angeles’ Westwood neighborhood, Hotel Palomar LA – Westwood is attracting meeting and event planners with innovative perks. The 240-room property, formerly the Doubletree Los Angeles, opened last spring and since then has attracted a number of meetings and events, from film press junkets to auditions for “Project Runway.”

The hotel, which is part of the Kimpton family of boutique hotels, is currently offering meeting planners an added incentive for booking and holding any meeting or event by June 2009. Planners who book and hold an event or meeting at the Hotel Palomar will receive a free iPod Touch and a $50 iTunes gift certificate, a fitting gift considering the hotel’s Hollywood-inspired theme of “Art in Motion.”

Hotel Palomar LA-Westwood has approximately 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting and conference space, including four hospitality suites, one ballroom and one boardroom. High-speed Wi-Fi access is available in all public spaces and meeting rooms and all events can be catered by the hotel’s signature restaurant, Blvd 16. Business center and audio-visual services are also readily available.
