The 62-room Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto, Calif., recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation and is set to welcome guests once more. The hotel, which caters to Silicon Valley business travelers and leisure guests alike, is currently offering a Hometown Tourist promotional package which represents savings of nearly 40 percent for Bay area locals.

Guests can reserve a King Deluxe Suite for $299 per night and enjoy complimentary amenities including welcome gifts; access to a fully appointed fitness center; valet overnight parking; complimentary wireless Internet connection; morning newspaper delivery; complimentary evening port and cookie service; morning Peet’s coffee and tea service and Shokolaat pastries; late check out; and a $50 gift certificate for dining at Il Fornaio. Pets are welcome at an additional $49 fee, including pet amenities. The package is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights based on room availability, and guests must show local identification for a complimentary room upgrade.
