The Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is currently undergoing a renovation of its fitness center that is scheduled to be completed in December. The new state-of-the-art center, now named the Athletic Club at The Westin, will boast more than 27,000 square feet of athletic offerings, including 4,000 new feet of exercise studio space. Spa Anjali, a full-service salon, will also feature a spa boutique and a 25-yard outdoor lap pool.
Other features of the project include a redesign of the Athletic Club’s Movement Studio for optimal strength and conditioning programs such as suspension training, power training and functional training. The club will also continue to offer group exercise classes including Zumba, Mat Pilates, Ballet Barre workouts and Circuit Training.
The Athletic Club will remain open during renovations, with unique programming such as a weekly Trail Running Series in the fall, guided snowshoes in winter, ski conditioning and more. Personal training with certified and master-level trainers is also available.
“We continue to strive to make the Athletic Club at the Westin the Vail Valley’s premiere fitness and training facility,” said Gaye Steinke, general manager of the Athletic Club.
