Kids can fly, ride, and stay free this winter at Beaver Creek and Vail, Colo. Through the much-anticipated return of the Kids Fly Free program, Eagle Airport (EGE) provides a free flight with American Airlines for children ages 2-12 with each paid adult (ages 18 and over) plane ticket and lodging. The same deal applies to skiing and snowboarding lift tickets at Beaver Greek and Vail for children with a paying adult. Lodging at select locations as well offer free nights to children through Vail Beaver Creek Reservations. If guests want to hit the slopes right away, the Fly In Ski Free program lets guests of any age ski free on the day of their arrival into Eagle Airport through April 24. All snow-goers need to do to obtain their free lift ticket is show their boarding pass from that day’s flight and their Vail Valley lodging confirmation at any ticket window. Everybody in the family can also take advantage of the Ski Free Stay Free special that offers a free lift ticket and night of lodging with the purchase of three nights’ lodging.

In addition, Beaver Creek offers fun for the whole family at the Beaver Creek Loves Kids family festival. More savings opportunities are available for the two weeks of the festival, which takes places Feb. 27 to March 11. Special promotions help to highlight all that the resort has to offer its youngest visitors, including complimentary kids’ lift tickets, ski and snowboard lessons and gear rentals. To qualify for these deals, kids must be accompanied by a paying adult and a minimum of a two-night stay booked at least a week in advance.

Additional family activities are offered to provide even more fun in the snow. Nature Valley NASTAR will host a racing challenge where families can compete in small groups against each other and, afterward, they can attend performances at the nearby Vilar Performing Arts Center. To get the most out of the experience in Vail, families should also check out the regular events around town like CarniVail, taking place March 6-8.
