The Details

Crested Butte Mountain Resort, located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, will allow guests to ski for free on its opening day, Nov. 21.

If you aren’t going to be there on opening day, there is still a chance to ski free. The resort is also giving away one free lift ticket a day, valid for the 2012-2013 ski season, until Nov. 21 to Facebook users who “like” their page. The free tickets will not be valid during holiday blackout dates, Dec. 24 to Jan. 4.

“Ski Free promotions have been synonymous with Crested Butte since the 90s, so why change tradition?” asked vice president of sales and marketing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Scott Clarkson. “We thought it would be fun to give away a few more free days to our loyal social media fans. Go “like” us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and Twitter and check in on Foursquare when you’re here and enjoy!”
