SkiQuest GPS, a new voice-guided mobile navigation system created exclusively for use with smartphones, including iPhone and BlackBerry, is helping skiers and riders make the most of every day on and off the slopes. Hill Aevium, a marketing, Web design and digital communications company located near Vail, Colo., designed all aspects of the software that puts the mountain at skiers’ and snowboarders’ fingertips by allowing users to map their courses turn by turn, whether it means finding the shortest route back to the lodge or the best double black diamonds. The SkiQuest GPS also has apres-ski information, including dining, shopping and nightlife activities.

"Hill Aevium is proud to announce the release of SkiQuest GPS — the world’s first voice-guided GPS application built exclusively for smartphones. It has the potential to revolutionize the skiing experience in Colorado," said Linda Hill, president of Hill Aevium.

Currently, the app is available for use at Beaver Creek, Colo., and Vail with plans to add more resorts in the 2010-2011 ski season.
