Breckenridge Ski Resort has received quite a lot of snowfall this season. The most recent blanket at the Colorado resort measures up past the 25-foot mark, the traditional season average, and has done so only halfway through the season with two of the snowiest months still ahead. Also at the mid-season mark, the snowfall measures 329 inches to date and the number of powder days of 10 or more inches of snow is 10 days (yearly average is seven).

To celebrate its legendary snowfall and the season, Breckenridge is putting on a number of Spring Fever events in April. The activities include the Annual Beer Festival on April 9 and the 5 Peaks, North America’s longest ski mountaineering race, on April 9. Festivities occur throughout the month until April 24, the last day of the 2010/2011 season.
