The Second Annual SpringFest at Vail Cascade Resort in Vail, Colo., will take place March 7 through April 24. The resort offers a spring-break-palooza with entertainment options including live music, face painting, s’mores by the fire and spa specials. Most activities are free and clients who choose not to stay at Vail Cascade Resort can take the free shuttle from Lionshead or Vail Village to access the festivities.
Evening parties will feature food and drink specials at the Fireside Bar, the Tavern and Atwater on Gore Creek. For the younger crowds participating in SpringFest, there is a new schedule of KidVenture activities, including arts and crafts and indoor tennis lessons. While the kids are enjoying their special events, adults can take advantage of a number of spa specials available.
For all ages, one of the highlights of the Vail Cascade SpringFest is the return of the Vail Precision Lawn Chair Drill Team on March 7. Other special events include the Taste of Vail gourmet food festival and Vail Film Festival.
Brett Schoenfield, general manager of the Vail Cascade Resort said, “Our goal for SpringFest at Vail Cascade is to offer a light-hearted welcome to spring. Last year’s success solidified that we plan on continuing this annual event as a ‘can’t miss’ party.”
