The Mile High SnowFest Comes to Denver

Snowfest will take place Jan. 25-28

In order to welcome the attendees of this year’s SIA Snow Show, Visit Denver is sponsoring the third annual Mile High SnowFest, taking place on Jan. 25-28. This event encompasses snow-themed events such as the Winter on the Rocks concert at Red Rocks, the Art of Winter exhibit and free ice skating at downtown's Southwest Rink at Skyline Park as well as deals throughout the city.

The Winter on the Rocks concert takes place Jan. 27 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and features hip hop artist Atmosphere as well as R&B singer Common. Art of Winter features Colorado artists and displays their work in everything from ski gondolas and films to ski- and snowboard-related art. Exhibits will be displayed throughout the city through Jan. 28. Also going on the entire week -- free ice skating. Southwest Rink at Skyline Park will only charge a $2 rental fee, making skating free for those who bring their own skates.
