The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa opened its doors on September 25, becoming the first upscale sustainable hotel in Colorado and providing unparalleled access to the Eagle River and Beaver Creek Mountain.

On track to become Colorado’s first luxury hotel to achieve LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the Westin Riverfront provides a variety of “green” programs including guest recycling stations on every floor, preferred parking for hybrid vehicles as well as an on-site organic garden.

In addition to its impressive sustainability efforts, the 210-guestroom hotel features the Riverfront Express Gondola, which drops skiers and snowboarders onto Beaver Creek Mountain slopes in less than three minutes. Other amenities include three riverside hot tubs, a ski valet and 25-meter outdoor lap pool.

The 23,000 square foot Spa Anjali contains 14 treatment rooms, a full-service salon and a complete fitness center including yoga, spin and Pilate classes. And keeping with the hotel’s green reputation, Spa Anjali only carries environmentally-friendly products.

Grand opening fall rates are as low as $119/night and several specialty packages are available such as golf, fishing, spa and ski/snowboard getaways.
