This winter, clients can go from Tinsletown to Ski Town, USA nonstop with United Airlines, which has launched new weekend nonstop winter service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN) for the upcoming 2012/2013 ski and snowboard season.

“Skiers and snowboarders now have convenient flight options to reach Steamboat, and its incredible Champagne Powder snow from across California,” said Rob Perlman, senior vice president of marketing and sales for the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. “International travelers, particularly from Australia, will immediately experience the benefits of this flight with convenient, one-stop connections in both directions and the best access seen in decades to Steamboat-Ski Town, USA.”

United's new service from Los Angeles International Airport into Steamboat/Hayden will operate on weekends from Dec. 22 through March 24, utilizing a regional jet, CR7, capable of accommodating 66 passengers. The new nonstop flights are already available for booking.
