Prime vintage and custom cars will be on display in Gunnison, Colo., Aug. 22-24 during the 21st Annual Gunnison Car Show. The event, sponsored by the Gunnison Car Club, includes a cruise-in, free street dances on Gunnison’s Main Street, an open car show, poker run and breakfast cruise to Crested Butte.
This year’s theme of “Cool Cars. Cool Mountains.” celebrates the combination of Gunnison’s temperate climate and the many collector and custom cars on display.
“The show is all about family fun,” said Gunnison Car Club president Mike Callihan. “In addition to hundreds of great cars, there are many fun things for the entire family to enjoy.”
The show kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22 with a 50’s-style cruise-in and concert. And the festival wraps up on Sunday, Aug. 24, when the cars leave for scenic drive to Crested Butte.
