Castle Resorts and Hotels assumed management of the Waikiki Grand Hotel on April 1.
The Waikiki Grand Hotel is located within walking distance of Waikiki Beach, across from Honolulu Zoo and near the Waikiki Aquarium, beach activities and art shows, cultural festivals and music concerts at Kapiolani Park. The hotel offers a selection of moderately priced non- smoking hotel rooms and studios with kitchenettes that have ocean, Diamond Head or Kapiolani Park views. Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand as well as Teddy’s Bigger Burger are situated in the hotel.
“The Waikiki Grand Hotel is the second resort property added in 2009 to our growing array of hotels, condominium resorts and villas,” said Alan Mattson, chief operating officer and president of Castle Resorts and Hotels. “We now operate seven hotels and condominium resorts throughout Waikiki, all which offer a variety of locations, amenities and prices.”
Founded in 1994, Castle manages a portfolio of 27 resort accommodations ranging from hotel guest rooms to resort condominium suites and villas on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Kauai and Hawaii; in Thailand on Phuket; in Micronesia on Guam and Saipan; and in New Zealand on the North Island.
