San Francisco-based Joie de Vivre Hotels recently opened Shoreline Hotel Waikiki, its second property in Hawaii. It also manages Coconut Waikiki Hotel.

Formerly known as the Seaside Hotel Waikiki, the 135-room Shoreline Hotel Waikiki was re-launched following major renovations.

Located steps from Waikiki Beach, Shoreline Hotel Waikiki draws from 1970s designs. Its Art Deco-inspired palette, seen throughout the interiors and exterior facade, uses natural tones and materials with accents of dusty sea foam and warm tangerine.

Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, mini fridges, microwaves and private balconies. The hotel’s top floors include four suites with views of the ocean and city, and most every room offers a skyline view.

Rates at Shoreline Hotel Waikiki start at $199 per night. The hotel's Sky Daredevil package, priced from $679 per night, includes a skydiving adventure for two; branded T-shirts or beach towels; and aloe sunblock.
