Aston Hotels and Resorts recently received two Gold Adrian awards from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). The chain was honored for its One Million HawaiianMiles Sweepstakes promotional campaign and Property Reference Guide for travel professionals.

Aston’s One Million HawaiianMiles Sweepstakes asked consumers, “Where would you go with a million HawaiianMiles?” Aston then awarded 100,000 HawaiianMiles to ten lucky grand prize winners redeemable for travel anywhere Hawaiian Airlines flies. The promotion was promoted extensively through print ads, e-marketing initiatives and Aston’s social media outlets, and it targeted frequent travelers to Hawaii and HawaiianMiles members.
Aston’s Property Reference Guide for travel professionals includes detailed information on chain's 27 hotels and condominium resorts in Hawaii, Lake Las Vegas and South Lake Tahoe. The guide was built through feedback from travel agents and is updated annually. The guide has also been translated into Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
HSMAI's Adrian Awards, which attract more than 1,000 entries internationally, annually recognize excellence in hotel, travel and tourism marketing, web design and public relations. Gold Adrian Award winners become finalists for HSMAI's Platinum Adrian Awards and the coveted Best of Show award announced at a New York gala in late January 2013.
